The <ins>tag in HTML is used to represent text that has been inserted into a document. It is commonly utilized to indicate new additions or modifications in a web page's content. The <ins>element is often paired with the <del>tag, which marks text that has been deleted, to show edits or changes within a document. This tag is part of HTML5 and helps maintain a clear record of revisions, making it particularly useful for collaborative editing and content management systems.
